Does Size Really Does Matter?

Written by Deanne Puckett

I have had my CHL and have been carrying a 9 mm for over a year now. My best friend is my gun and it goes everywhere I go.

It sure is a great gun but man oh man, it weighs down a women's purse! I have looked at other calibers to carry and even tried a few but I always go back to my 9 mm. Now, as much as I love the 9 mm, I want to start looking for a smaller version of a gun, so that I can carry on me, whether that be around my ankle, on my hip, hidden behind my back or in a concealed shirt.

I came to the conclusion I needed to carry one on my body, when I was in line at a convenient store alone and there was a person in line behind me that I was feeling uncomfortable about. While I was waiting patiently for my turn, I was sitting there thinking about if this situation turned ugly, how long it would it actually take me to get my gun out of my purse and protect myself.

Hmm, well too long I think for that type of situation. Just my thoughts and something to really consider when out shopping for a gun to carry concealed. Nothing wrong with keeping the one in my purse and adding a smaller more compact one on my body.

So in this case...size does matter!
